Jyri won't be able to play WoW for a while, he deleted some random files from his gamefolder in an attempt to "fix icy veins". XD

He'll return as soon as I'm in the mood to reinstall his game.

that was a day i was very frustrated about the fact that my ice block was marked as icy veins, and i happened to notice that i didnt have that problem with other computers so i thought the problem was with an update. unfortunately, it seems i had been confused and thought that patches and updates were the exact same thing.

what i find odd, is that happened a LONG time ago, and i havened had a problem with it until now.

try the repair utility within wow (repair.exe)


itll take u back a few patches, but it can save u lots of time in reinstallation.

u know. my WOW dont need no installation:) i just burned it from my friend, i had it like in folder and i just copy it whenever i want, no need for no install just copy>paste, some time to copy but that all:) really fast, i just delete my wow folder when i have any problems and paste another one from the DVDs:)

But can you patch new version with that kind of "installation"?

i figured i might just as well use this thing to tell you this, because i think its a brilliant idea

im thinking about changing the name of my character (the blood elf mage Jyri) and i would like some suggestions because i was never really good with names

i want something that sound like a blood elf name and makes me sound like a powerful mage (just slightly will do), so please give me your suggestions

meh I usually go and google some mythology crap if Im outta names .. or go to wikipedia and type mages .. or idk dude .. go to wow forums section mages ---> names and pick on of the posted ones

which is now off topic, but i dont care:P
yes, i had it from version 2.3.0 and i patched it few times now, it cost me just more dvds:) they r so cheap that i dont mind wastin them. actually it takes me 3 dvds now:) since 2.4.0. but i got previous one, so if they d rollback version (which they wont...........sucks...) i can easily paste it and play.
